In my practice as a therapist, I have the privilege of treating anxiety and OCD across a diverse range of clients, spanning various stages of life from childhood through adolescence to adulthood. Each age group brings its unique challenges and joys, and I find immense fulfillment in adapting my approach to meet the specific needs of each individual. Whether I'm helping a child navigate the complexities of their young world, supporting an adolescent in their journey towards self-discovery, or guiding an adult through the myriad challenges of life, my goal remains consistent: to provide compassionate, effective treatment tailored to each person's unique experience and stage of life. My experience with such a broad spectrum of ages enriches my practice and offers me a comprehensive perspective on the human experience.
In my clinical work, I use a range of empirically supported treatments. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), which equips parents with strategies to support their anxious children. By combining these evidence-based approaches, I help my clients develop a comprehensive toolbox to face their fears, overcome obstacles, and reclaim control of their lives from anxiety. Besides being a therapist, Iām also married and a mother to three wonderful children. In my free time, I enjoy immersing myself in books, baking homemade soft pretzels, and playing endless rounds of board games and backyard sports with my kids, creating cherished memories together. Throughout it all, you can also find me perpetually catching up on housework, embracing the beautiful chaos of family life.
